Broomes Extends Crewe Stay

Blackpool defender Marlon Broomes has today extended his loan deal at League One relegation strugglers Crewe Alexandra.

However, there appears to be confusion over the length of the extension with the Blackpool official site reporting that it's for a month but Crewe's official site reporting that it's until the end of the season.

If indeed the move is until the end of the season, then Broomes will miss Crewe's last game of the season against Leicester City due to the 93 day loan rule.

Broomes has made 5 appearances for Alex since arriving at Gresty Road, during which time they have recorded wins over Tranmere, Southend and Huddersfield.
