Shock 'Pool Move For Everton's Anichebe?

Ok, this is quite far-fetched...

Everton youngster Victor Anichebe has today been nationally linked with a loan move to Blackpool after a public fall-out with Everton boss Davod Moyes.

The 20-year-old - who was crucial in The Toffees' UEFA Cup run last season - has also attracted the attention of Steel city neighbours Sheffield United and Wednesday.

Although Anichebe hasn't been prolific in his three year spell at Goodison Park so far, he's still young and has shown promise, especially coming off the bench in Europe.

Premiership new-boys Hull City had wanted to take him on loan in January but he looks set to make a move to The Championship.

It remains highly unlikely that The Seasiders would be able to attract someone of Anichebe's pedigree - with a move to Sheffield United more believable - but the fact remains that Tony Parkes is still very short in the attacking department.

Even if 'Pool don't sign the Everton frontman, expect them to get somebody in pretty soon.
