On the pitch
Blackpool travelled down to Portman Road to take on Ipswich and earned a well deserved point, the game finishing 1-1. Alex Baptiste notched his first goal for Pool only for Tommy Miller to equalise in the space of five first half minutes.

The draw pushes Pool eight points clear of the relegation zone.

Red hot ressies beat Rochdale
Blackpool`s reserves beat Rochdale 4-2 at Bloomfield Road on Wednesday night. Blackpool included Stephen Crainey, Jermaine Wright, Stuart Green, Claus Jorgensen, Brett Ormerod, Joe Martin and Danny Mitchley. New signing Francesco Carratta made his debut for the club. Brett Ormerod bagged a brace and midfielders Jorgensen and Green were also on target.

Off the pitch
Middlesbrough winger Graeme Owens has had his loan spell at Blackpool extended until March 11. Owens has made three substitute appearances for Pool.

Tony Parkes ruled out a move for Burnley striker Ade Akinbiyi. The Seasiders had been interested in the former Leicester frontman but wages proved to be the stumbling block.

Best thread on the forum
What food would you like on the concourses? Initiated by platos, this one sparked cracking debate about what should be served at Bloomfield Road. Mints, chicken curry and rice, chips and gravy, veggie rolls and quorn burgers were all mentioned. But my favourite was the good old traditional favourite Lancashire Hotpot. Caterers of BFC please take note.

Onwards to Pride Park on Wednesday to take on a rejuvenated Derby County. Here's to another away win please!
