Half Time: Ipswich 1 - 1 Blackpool
Despite taking the lead, The Seasiders go in at half time 1-1 at Portman Road against hosts Ipswich Town.
A wonderfully crafted goal scored by Alex John-Baptiste gave 'Pool a one nil lead on the half hour mark. The defender thumped his effort past the Town 'keeper from inside the penalty area.
And AJB's day got a whole lot better when he cleared off the line for the 'Pool seconds after the restart.
But that was cancelled out minutes later when Town midfielder Tommy Miller found the corner of Matt Gilks' goal to level the scores.
Ben Thatcher and David Vaughan were both given yellow cards by the referee towards the end of the first period.
Roy O'Donovan went close just after the Blackpool goal, but his side-footed shot was easily saved in the end by Richard Wright in the Tractor Boys' goal. The winger will also count himself a little lucky not to be in the book after a string of fouls.
Moments before the half time whistle, Danny Haynes crashed a shot just past the Blackpool post - an effort Gilks probably wouldn't have reached.
There is a hush around the ground, with the Ipswich fans nervous and very quiet - hopefully Tony Parkes can galvanise the away team at the break.
