Blackpool Still Waiting On Leeds Date
It has emerged today that Blackpool and Leeds United are still waiting to agree on a hearing date in front of the Football League to decide whether United are guilty of any wrong-doing in the Simon Grayson fiasco.
'Larry' resigned at Bloomfield Road whilst accepting the Yorkshire clubs' contract offer. However, his resignation was not accepted by Karl Oyston - and The Seasiders are holding out for severe compensation.
However, a Football League official said today that 'There is still no date set. We are waiting for all parties involved to agree a date when the hearing can be held.'
Oyston has spoken to The Blackpool Gazette, and insists that Ken Bates' club acted in an improper manner.
'The way it happened was wrong and we were left with no alternative but to take the action we did,' said Oyston.
When a hearing eventually happens, 'Pool are hoping for a big compensation package - which looks to be a forgone conclusion.
