'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Former Blackpool Midfielder Signs At Town

Former Blackpool midfielder Adrian Forbes has signed for Grimbsy Town in his continued demise down the football pyramid.

The 30-year-old has made just six starts for Millwall since his move from Blackpool this time last year, finding it difficult to break into Kenny Jackett's first team plans.

But Mike Newell has given him a chance in League Two at Grimsby, and hopefully 'Forbesy' - who was well liked at Bloomfield Road - will kick on and help The Mariners stay up.

He's signed at Blundell Park until the end of the season - which seems the norm in lower league transfers today.
