Another Adebola Knock Back

Nottingham Forest are the latest Championship club to have a bid for Bristol City's Dele Adebola knocked back.

Blackpool were rumoured to be in for the former Coventry City striker last week, but couldn't fund a move.

The 33-year-old is hot property in the Championship this season after an impressive year at Ashton Gate, but with Steve Brooker having gone to Doncaster Rovers, City may have thought they didn't have enough time to sign a replacement for Adebola.

It is thought that Tony Parkes is in the market for a new striker and possibly another midfielder before the 5pm deadline today. The Premier League are trying to extend the 5pm deadline further into the night with FIFA, according to the BBC.
