'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Price To Pay For 'That' Wolves Performance!

The highly credible 2-2 draw against table-toppers Wolves live on Sky was fantastic, wasn't it? Well, Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy seemed to think so, as he has now gone in for two of 'Pool's loan stars from that night within two weeks - first Alan Gow, and now somewhat unexpectedly Kyel Reid.

Reid, who made seven impressive starts for The Seasiders, was reported to have turned down a chance to rejoin the club last week, and wanted to speak to his manager at West Ham, Gianfranco Zola.

After those talks about his future, it is clear Zola feels he is best off at a club chasing promotion, which means Reid, according to Wolves' official site, will today sign a loan deal to the end of the season.

However, Alan Gow will now definitely not be moving to Molineux, as Wolves CEO Jez Moxey tells their official site.

'Mick McCarthy has been keen to bring in a wide player during the transfer window and after the deal to sign Alan Gow fell through we moved quickly for Kyel Reid' Moxey said.
