'Pool v Brum: Rearranged Date

Following Birmingham City's defeat against Wolves in the FA Cup this week, the game between The Seasiders and The Blues will now be played on January 24th.

The date has been kept clear in the Championship diary because of the FA Cup fourth round, but with both clubs being knocked out at the first hurdle, it makes sense to rearrange to a Saturday.

The official site reports that all tickets bought for the postponed fixture on January 10 will be valid for the 3 o'clock kick off.

Alex McLeish has publicly criticised Blackpool following the postponment, but this seems to suit everybody.
