Hammill To Go On Loan

20-year-old Hammill spent the first half of this season on loan with the Tangerines, notably scoring a corker of a goal against the old enemy (the less said about the final score, though, the better!).

Since returning to Liverpool, however, doubts have crept into the minds of Blackpool fans as to whether he will return to the club - following Simon Grayson's acrimonious departure to Leeds United before Christmas and whether he will have a role to play for the Liverpool first team in the Premiership title chase they find themselves in at this moment in time.

Sky Sports have reported on their website that the young winger has been told that he has impressed since returning to the club, however they are looking to release him on loan once more, to further his development with first team football.

Great news for the Seasiders, it seems...however there have been enquiries from a number of clubs about his availability during this transfer window. Clubs from the SPL, Championship and even some European clubs are alleged to have sounded their intentions to the Anfield management that they would like to have him in their team for the remainder of the season.

With this news, could Tony Parkes make an enquiry - assuming he hasn't already - to regain the services of the tricky winger, or, has he conceded defeat having already brought in players for that area of the team in Roy O'Donovan and more notably, Graeme Owens from Middlesbrough?
