Winger leaves Pool

The young winger has struggled to make an impact at Bloomfield Road since his arrival in 2007.

D'Agostino had an impressive loan spell at League One Cheltenham last season and it was hoped that he would progress into the first team at the seaside this season.

However, with the likes of Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Adam Hammill above him in the pecking order, D'Agostino has now had his contract cancelled by mutual consent. The winger is expected to return to his home country Canada.

Meanwhile Danny Nardiello will hope to stake a claim for a place in the Blackpool squad for Saturday's game against Swansea when he turns out for the reserves at Tranmere tomorrow.
