The Seasiders responded just 13 minutes later though, as a freekick rebounded back off the wall to Keith Southern and the tireless midfielder thumped it with his left foot into the corner.
However, 'Pool couldn't hold out for half time when a John Harley freekick was headed home by Rasiak - another set piece where Simon Grayson's team conceed.
