'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Go Go Gow!

The Rangers midfielder has signed initially on a loan deal until January.
A fee has been agreed between Rangers and Blackpool, believed to be around £200,000, for Gow and as long as the midfielder impresses at Pool he should sign permanently with the club in January.

Pool boss Simon Grayson has been chasing the 25 year-old attacking midfield player for some time. Gow's arrival at Bloomfield Road could pave the way for midfielder Stuart Green or winger Michael D'Agostino to go out on loan next week to gain some first team football.

Gow scored 26 goals in under 100 appearances for Aidrie United, an impressive spell which earned him a move to Falkirk. Another 18 goals in 73 starts at Falkirk alerted Rangers and Gow made the move to Ibrox in January 2007.

But Gow has struggled to break into Walter Smith's first team and he will now get his chance with Pool. Expect to see him in the squad for the home clash with Barnsley a week on Saturday.
