Championship Season ticket sales

As we know at Blackpool there has been a sharp rise in the price of season tickets at Blackpool , there`s reasons why it`s been done and why it`s a big rise but thats all been covered.

The fact is that we`ve sold the least amount of season tickets in the league at the point of writing. It may be a result of the credit crunch, rise in prices, small stadium, lack of big signing but it was expected.

The relegation of Scunthorpe and Colchester last season and the promotion of Swansea, Nottingham and Doncaster makes us the "smallest club in the league". As a percentage of capacity it`s no bad, over 50% but it`s dwarfed by other clubs in the league, seven clubs have triple the amount of season ticket holders.

This data has come from a Channel 4 survey week commencing Monday 21 July.
