Blackpool To Tame The Shrews?

Blackpool To Tame The Shrews?

Blackpool have wasted no time in arranging a new pre-season friendly after their trip to Northern Ireland was cancelled today.

Shrewsbury will be the opponents this Friday, kick off 7.30 pm, and for Seasiders fans travelling down to the game it will be an opportunity to visit a new ground as the Shrews moved from their old home, Gay Meadow, to the near 10,000 capacity Prostar Stadium in July 2007.

It will also be a chance for the Pool to meet up again with four former players who are currently at Shrewsbury - Manager Paul Simpson, Michael Jackson, Grant Holt and Richard Walker.

Tickets can be purchased on the night of the game, and according to the official Shrewsbury Town F.C. website are a bargain at £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and Under 16s free of charge.
