Hammill Signs On Loan

Hammill Signs On Loan

Simon Grayson has today secured the services of promising Liverpool youngster Adam Hammill on a six month loan deal. Hammill, who has had first team experience with both Southampton and Dunfermline Athletic, could make his Pool debut at Wrexham tomorrow.

Able to play on either flank he is seen as a natural replacement for Wes Hoolahan who joined Norwich City recently, and his signing suggests that Blackpool will no longer pursue their interest in Gary Roberts of Crewe. Hammill becomes Blackpool's seventh new recruit of the summer, and the fifth with previous Championship experience, a clear indication of the type of player that Larry is currently coverting.
