Fleetwood Town 1 - 2 Blackpool

Pool started their pre-sason campaign with a 2-1 over Fleetwood Town at Highbury this afternoon. Pool started with new keeper Matthew Gilks in goal, a back four of Barker, Bayliss, Brooms and Martin (awaiting to be confirmed). Midfield of Southern, Diagostino, McPhee and Fox. Upfront Burgess with a trialist fitting into the starting 11 somewhere.

Pool were 2-0 up at half time, Fleetwood keeper Hurst fumbled the first, no confirmation on the scorer the second was from last season top scorer Ben Burgess.

Former Pool player Jamie Milligan made it 2-1 in the second half from the spot. Thats the way it ended in-front of 1,462 supporters.
