Wright and Kabba sign

Simon Grayson has managed to sign a striker before the opening friendly with Fleetwood, foreward Steve Kabba has signed on loan from Watford till the 1st of January. Also signing today was defender / midfielder Jermaine Wright who signs a one-year deal with an option to a further year.

It`s good news with the pair having plenty of Championship experience between them. Kabba started his career at Crystal Palace but made a name for himself at Sheffield United with 18 goals in 78 games. He signed for Watford in 2007 for half a million but has only gone onto make 25 starts and score one goal.

Jermaine Wright signs from Southampton after being released, The Greenwich born player had two seasons at St Mary`s after signing from Leeds in 2006. He`s know for time at Ipswich, notching up 184 appearances from 1999 to 2004, he was bought for £5000,000 from Wolves as a replacement for the departing Kieron Dyer...

Two good players there. Kabba was key in our promotion season and up until xmas looked set for the golden boot.

I don't know why Aidy sent Kabba out on loan to you.. We need him.. I think you'll like Steve.. He always gives 110% Just don't expect results staight away Kabba hasn't played much and needs to get to full fitness..... GOOD LUCK KABB"S enjoy that sea air.......
