Transfer Targets From Same Stable!

First of all it was Andy Wilkinson of Stoke City who Blackpool were allegedly interested in signing. Shortly afterwards Danny Coyne, the Tranmere keeper, was mooted as a target. Then there have been stories claiming James O'Connor and Paul Wotton had both been at Bloomfield Road discussing terms before choosing to sign elsewhere.

And let's not forget the talented Crewe midfielder Gary Roberts, who has been mentioned on a number of message boards recently.

But the most interesting rumours which have circulated this past weekend concern Barnsley winger Martin Devaney, rumoured to be available at £150k, and former Watford striker Gifton Noel-Williams who is currently plying his trade at Spanish Second Division club Elche.

So what is the common link between Messrs Wilkinson, Coyne, O'Connor, Wotton, Roberts, Devaney and Noel-Williams? The answer is that their affairs are contractually managed by the same law firm - Beswicks.

Beswicks full list of clients can be easily accessed on their website, and includes both Kyle Lafferty, the former Burnley striker, and Martin Paterson his replacement at Turf Moor!

So it is just mere coincidence that Blackpool appear to be specialising in targeting Beswicks' clients this summer? Or has the club decided to work closely with a specific agent in order to attract players to Bloomfield Road?
