Dickov Decision Imminent

Blackpool Vital believes Paul Dickov will be making a decision on his future next week.

In light of Chairman Karl Oyston's recent assertion that Blackpool are looking at 'quality rather than quantity' it is hoped that Dickov will finally put pen to paper on a one year deal.

Given the success of his loan spell at the club last season Dickov's signing would be welcome news for Pool fans, given the recent drawn out departure of Wes Hoolahan.

Oyston has also stated that further new signings are 'imminent', after yesterday's capture of Matt Gilks as part of the Hoolahan deal. So could this be a case of farewell Morrell and Parker, hello Dickov and Job? We shall see.....

Hope you get him he would be a great signing for you but I have a feeling he may join Mark Hughes's coaching staff.

He would undoubtedly be a quality signing for 'pool, but he is getting on a bit and is not as young as he used to be. However, having said that, if he were to turn up at Ipswich, I wouldn't have a problem with it... even if "Dickov is a w****r"!

Please O please even if he gives us 1 year of what he gave us for a few matches last season I will be a happy man. Then maybe onto our coaching staff?

You know what you are going to get with Dickov. He's a 100% man who will be fully commited wherever he plays.
