Capital Move For Gorkss?

According to information on the QPR Vital site Kaspars Gorkss has been in London undergoing a medical with a view to joining the West London outfit.

Gorkss' performances last season have drawn enquiries from a host of Championship sides -Ipswich, Norwich, Crystal Palace and Preston to name but four - but Iain Dowie's recent appointment at Rangers seems to have made them favourites to sign the Latvian international.

With fellow international Wes Hoolahan looking more and more likely to leave Blackpool in the coming weeks, will the Seasiders be able to fend off ever growing interest in our prized centre back, especially given he is available at a bargain £250k?

Surely this is now the time for the Directors to start showing a little of the ambition that one expects from a club that plans to be in the Championship for the long haul, and look to reward its best performers with contracts that actually reflect their status as major assets.

Over to you Messrs Oyston and Belokon....

Doesn't look to promising for you so far. Like you said they made a big issue about getting back to the Championship. They now eed to make sure its not a short stay.

he will be a big lose for you guys, and if hoolahan goes you will need to spend some money on some decent replacements.
