Pre-Season Countdown - Five Weeks Until Highbury

Pre-Season Countdown - Five Weeks Until Highbury

Blackpool start their pre-season fixtures with the now obligatory match at near neighbours Fleetwood Town on Saturday July 12th, kick-off 3.00 pm.

Tickets are now on sale priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for Seniors/Juniors. Due to stadium redevelopment at Highbury the capacity for this game has been reduced to only 1500, so if you fancy watching this local derby buy your ticket without delay.

The Seasiders then move on to Latvia for their third pre-season tour in as many years. This year however the tour has been somewhat curtailed with only two fixtures planned - versus FK Jurmala on Monday 14th, kick-off 6.00 pm (local time) and versus Skonto Riga 24 hours later.

Further games against Wrexham away on the 19th, kick off 3.00 pm, and Tranmere Rovers away on the 2nd August, kick off again 3.00 pm, have also been confirmed.

The St Mirren match is the only opportunity for Seasiders supporters to watch their favourites at home prior to the new season. The game has been confirmed for Tuesday 29th July, although kick off time and admission prices have yet to be finalised.

It is believed that Blackpool may also be planning a two game visit to Northern Ireland to complete their itinerary. As soon as we have any news on this front we will bring you all the details.
