Dickov Weighing Up His Options

Striker Paul Dickov is currently on holiday pondering the next move in his illustrious career. Very much in demand after a successful loan spell last season at Bloomfield Road, Dickov has had offers from at least four Coca Cola League sides as well as from the United States, Canada and Australia.

Keen to eventually move into coaching having already sat his exams, Dickov is looking to tie up what would probably be his last playing contract and is understandably taking his time over such a deal.

The appointment of Mark Hughes as the new Manchester City manager might in fact lead to Dickov staying on at the Eastlands in some capacity, as he rates Sparky as the best manager he has played under. A statement backed up by the fact that Dickov netted 14 goals for Blackburn Rovers in 50 games under the former Welsh National boss.

With Wes Hoolahan reported to have joined Norwich City on a long term deal and continued uncertainty surrounding prized asset Kaspars Gorkss, Seasiders fans are certainly in need of some good cheer at the moment. However we can still only speculate on whether or not that will be the permanent signing of The Pest!

Wes hasn't gone yet let's not speak to soon. Maybe he will sign a new deal with us worth £50,000 a week. Or maybe pigs do fly!

If you could get him again it would be a good signing. He's one of those players who always looks like he's giving 100%
