Contrasting Fortunes For Perfect Ten Members

For any Blackpool supporter fortunate enough to witness Joe Hart's five game loan spell during the Seasiders 'Perfect 10' promotion run-in there was always the feeling that we were seeing a player destined for the top.

And on the back of an impressive season in the Premier League with Manchester City that prophecy bore fruit when at the weekend Joe made his full England debut as a half time substitute in the international against Trinidad and Tobago.

Chris Brandon on the other hand now finds himself part of the Stuart McCall revolution at League Two Bradford City, having joined them on a two year deal from near neighbours Huddersfield Town.

Brandon's loan signing by Blackpool had been keenly anticipated as he had had a successful lower league career at both Huddersfield and Chesterfield. In 5 appearances for the Seasiders we saw both the good and bad side of the midfielder with a brace against Northampton being the highlight of his stay. Unfortunately a needless sending off against Scunthorpe United put paid to any chance of appearing again in a tangerine shirt, as Larry chose not to make the deal permanent.

Last season was a frustrating one for Chris back at Huddersfield with only three goals to show for his endeavours, although one of those was responsible for knocking Birmingham City out of the FA Cup.

He's certainly had a fantastic season at Man City and finished it off with his first England cap.
