'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Let's beat the drop and the bookies'

In our latest poll we asked you whether you thought it was right that the bookies' have Pool down as the favourites for relegation this coming season.

83% of you thought that it was right of the bookmakers' to single out the Tangerines for relegation. But many of you expect us to make the bookies' eat humble pie and survive next season. 48% of you believe Pool will stay up against the odds.

Meanwhile, 17% of those that voted must have been feeling extremely optimistic believing that Pool will make the play-offs this coming season to really upset the odds.

The bookmakers' have clearly labelled us with the tag of relegation certainties. Betfair have us 10/11 on to go down along with Barnsley 7/5 and Doncaster at 6/4.

I doubt that being written off by the bookies' will have an adverse effect on the players or manager. We proved our critics wrong last season by surviving and I am confident, as the staff of BFC should be, that we will do the same again.

Get voting in our new poll which asks you how you would sum up Keigan Parker's career with Pool now that the Scot has joined Huddersfield.

Was about to say BEWARE THE SECOND SEASON SYNDROME!, Colchester fell foul of it this year. Shame your chairman has no ambition.
