Bristol and Doncaster in the Championship

The evergreen Dean Windass thumped a classy volley into the Bristol net to send the Tigers' to the big time. Gary Johnson's Bristol City will play Pool again next season having missed out on a second succesive promotion.

Meanwhile, Richie Wellens' and his Doncaster team will visit Bloomfield Road next year having secured promotion yesterday beating Leeds 1-0 at Wembley. Ex-Bournemouth striker James Hayter scored the decisive goal just after half time.

Bristol and Doncaster have now completed the line up of teams for the 2008/09 Championship season. It certainly promises to be another exciting season with the likes of Derby, Wolves, Birmingham, Ipswich and Charlton all to play the Pool.

The next date to mark in your diaries is Monday 16th June when the new season's fixtures will be revealed. The first game of the season will take place on Saturday 9th August. I can't wait!
