'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Maybe Martin?

Amidst all the euphoria of staying up last Sunday it may have gone unnoticed that Spurs loan man Joe Martin finally made his Blackpool bow.

Despite signing in March Martin couldn`t force his way into the first team. But he got his chance on the final day and slotted into the midfield with ease.

Martin, 19, has featured for England in the under-16 and under-17 age groups. That talent was obvious from his display at Bloomfield Road. The left sided player whipped in a couple of delicious crosses as well as going close with a solid header.
Martin put himself about and certainly wasn`t over roared by the occasion.

It remains to be seen whether the youngster will be available for loan next season. But if Juande Ramos let`s him out I expect to see Simon Grayson try to lure Martin back to Bloomfield Road, possibly for the full season.

great news that martin has broken into your side and performed well. it seems logical that he should get atleast some time away on loan next season, the fact that you have secured your c/ship place makes you a good option for the boy.
