'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tonight, God Is A Baggie!

In 1998, house music group, Faithless said that 'tonight, God is a DJ'. Ten years on in 2008, Blackpool fans up and down the country will be singing 'tonight, God is a Baggie' if The Seasiders secure Championship status with a West Brom win at home to Southampton, live on Sky Sports.

Tony Mowbray and his team need a point from the game to all but secure promotion, as they would go three points ahead of Hull City but with a vastly superior goal difference. However, a draw wouldn't really help Simon Grayson's Blackpool too much, as all it would achieve is to condense the bottom of the table, and leave us needing a point against Watford on Sunday to secure Championship survival.

A resounding Albion win is what we all want, which would keep Southampton three points behind Blackpool going into the final round of fixtures, and with the goal difference being 12 goals in our favour, it is impossible that Sheffield United will be beaten so heavily at St Mary's on Sunday.

Just for good measure, and a bit of a tedious link, click here and sing along with the lyrics below... please, if anyone can think of better lyrics, comment them under the article!

Lyrical Genuis?

It's a natural grace
Of watching young life shape
It's in the football league
Solutions and remedies
Enemies becoming friends
When the season ends

This is my church
This is where I heal my hurts
For tonight
'GOD IS A BAGGIE.'

If you think you want Southampton relegated, what do you imagine us at Pompey are praying for, besides beating Cardiff at Wembley. Play up the Baggies.
