Men In Black - Taylor

A.Taylor was the referee for Saturday's 0-0 draw away at Crystal Palace, and dished out five yellow cards, but how did our forum members think he fared?

Ratings:

'Great positioning and is becoming a lucky charm for us.

He had a good game, missed one or two things but on the whole - well done

4 from me'

'Because he is our lucky charm I'll give him 3, one or two things he didn`t give to us and I thought he should have sent Derry off when McPhee was clean through.'

'3 from me, kept game going, but couple of things either way a bit iffy, and wasn't helped by lino's either

About time we got one to give us some decisions though, not many would have not given the pen!'

'3.5 from me.

Excellent first half, but lost it a bit in the second.

Deserves a good score for the abuse the Palace fans gave him in the interval!'

So this gives Taylor an average of 3.38 for that match, which means his overall MIB score stands at 3.47 - which keeps him in second place behind K Hill.

I believe he was from Manchester, I wonder if that had any bearing on his decesions? Does the 30 mile rule still apply these days?

Says it all when there are 18 refs with average scores below 2! The standard is as poor as ever!
