Men In Black: East, Moss and Pike

Men In Black: East, Moss and Pike

Pike, East and Moss: the ratings!

Mike Pike was the referee for Blackpool's draw at home to Ipswich Town, with the reverse fixture this Saturday at Portman Road.

After a mixed afternoon, Pike scored an average of 2.6 for his performance, which lowered his average from an impressive 3 (after the West Brom away defeat) to 2.8 - which still is not too bad. The defining comment came from Crossy after the Ipswich game, as he stated: 'I give him a 3 today. He did let the game flow well and didn't show any yellows. Got the red correct....eventually, I didnt think he was going blow for it at all. He had no help whatsoever from the assistants.'

Next up was Mr East, who was refereeing his first Blackpool game - away at Bristol City. With an average score of 3, he now moves to eighth in the table, overtaking Mike Pike. Sandgroanun said: '3 - seemed intent on not giving cards out from the start, even when they clearly merited it! Certainly been worse officials on display this season.'

Finally, Mr Moss was the man in black for the 2-2 at Hull City on Saturday, and already with an IMB score of 1.72 and did that average no good after scoring just 1.6 for the City match. His new average stands at 1.66 which means he moves down a place in the table. For this game, Sandgroanun gave the highest mark (3) whereas the lowest was a 1, from members Crossy, PradaShades and Curryman; Luke gave a 2.

Tomorrow night sees Wolves travel to Bloomfield Road, and the referee for that fixture will be Premiership official Lee Mason (Chris Foy is fourth official), possibly the most picky official who has ever officiated a Blackpool game, although he hasn't been involved in one for the duration of the Men In Black feature.

Despite weather conditions having an impact on early proceedings, Pool were able to deal with the heavy hail and created the first chance when Redshaw
