Pool in the Hunt for another striker

The Irish striker has netted 13 goals so far this season and Simon Grayson has, according to several media reports, had a bid turned down for Hunt.

Dundee United chairman Eddie Thompson was quoted in the Scottish Daily Mail as saying: 'Blackpool came on to us. But within 24 hours we made it clear it was nowhere near our valuation.'

Grayson is believed to be in the market for at least one more forward after sealing the signing of Steve McPhee from Hull City yesterday. It remains to be seen whether Noel Hunt will be joining the Scot at Bloomfield Road.

Meanwhile Simon Grayson has sent Matt Lawlor out on loan to Farsley Celtic. The young defender will initially spend a month with the Blue Square Premier strugglers.

With 13 goals to his name if you get him it can only be posotive....

Can't really see Dundee United wanting to sell him for less than at least £400,000.

Go for 250K and Kiegan Parker !

I think 500k + clauses would be more likely to get him at a bare minimum. Maybe 750k+. Which is a shame...I'd love to get him here!
