'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Where are they now?

Adam Nowland began his career at the Seaside way back in 1998 as a fresh faced, blond haired youngster. In three seasons with Pool, Nowland never fulfilled his undoubted potential. Among his six goals scored in a Tangerine shirt was one absolute screamer at Stockport in the League Cup, for those of you crazy enough to remember it!

Nowland spent some years with the crazy gang down at Wimbledon, before making his big move to Premiership West Ham. However, it never quite worked out for the midfielder with the Hammers. His time in London was interrupted by loan stints at Gillingham and Notts Forest.

In the summer of 2005 Nowland made the move back to the North West to sign for our friends up the M55. Adam scored three in his first season at PNE but his time at Dungdale was hampered by injury.

Nowland now finds himself back down in League 2 with Stockport County.

It's hard to believe that Nowland is still only 26 and perhaps has the best years in his career ahead of him. Clearly Adam has suffered with injuries which have blighted his career to date. The fact that he has yet to establish himself at a club has proved costly to Adam's progress as a footballer.

Pool fans will remember glimpses of Nowland's talent at an early age, yet sadly he has struggled to kick on from his younger day's. Perhaps Adam can nuckle down and make an impression at Edgely Park and he may yet carve out a career for himself.

All the best Adam!

What a waste of a talent! Come on Nowland shape up before it's too late!

Stockport county are a pile of poo at the moment, if he doesn't make an impression there then theres no hope for the lad

Me think it is too late already for him, real shame.
will it ever happen
He's still yet to reach his prime so if he can get stuck in he might move back up the divisions.
