'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jacko number two

With Ian Evatt out for some time with a knee injury and Kaspers Gorkss out for one match after his sending off against Coventry Matt Jackson has arrived on a months loan from Watford.

Jackson, 35 started his career at Luton but made his name at Everton in the 90`s winning the FA Cup and starting over 150 games for the Toffees. He then made an impact at Norwich in-between 1996 and 2001 with over 160 starts.

A loan move to Wigan then resulted in a permanent deal were he tasted success again with promotion to the Premier League. After two seasons in the Premiership with Wigan the Leeds born defender moved to Watford in the summer on a free. After only 2 appearance this season in the league cup and DeMerit, Shittu, Mariappa ahead of him the pecking order the move has come at a good time.

With Kaspers back after his one match suspension Jackson may find himself back on the bench for the Crystal Palace game
