Championship Round - Up

As Pool admirably held league leaders' Watford at Vicarage Road, how did our rivals get on?

Barnsley 1 - 1 Cardiff
Another goal for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink for City was cancelled out by Brian Howard.

Burnley 1 - 1 Palace
Michael Duff levelled for the home team after Mark Hudson had given Palace a fifth minute lead.

Colchester 0 - 1 Scunthorpe
Paul Hayes grabbed the only goal to fire the Iron to three points.

Coventry 1 - 1 Charlton
A popular scoreline this weekend in the league saw Pool's opponents on Tuesday, Coventry snatch a point through Michael Mifsud. Lloyd Sam had earlier given Alan Pardew's side the lead.

Hull 3 - 1 Ipswich
Henrik Pedersen fired a brace for Hull to add to Wayne Brown's strike. Dan Harding replied for Town.

Leicester 1 - 1 Stoke
Ricardo Fuller gave the away team the lead, only for Matty Fryatt to level for Leicester.

Norwich 0 - 1 Sheff Wed
Wednesday recorded back to back league wins courtesy of Wade Small.

Plymouth 1 - 1 Wolves
Argyle, the next visitors to Bloomfield Road, picked up a point through Nick Chadwick. Stephen Elliot had earlier given Mick McCarthy's side the advantage.

Preston 0 - 0 Bristol City
PKE drew another home blank as City remain unbeaten in the league.

Sheff Utd 1 - 2 Southampton
Keith Gillespie opened the scoring, only for the Saints to snatch the points thanks to goals from Rasiak and Viafara.

West Brom 5 - 1 QPR
Sunday's game saw Rangers slip to the foot of the table in this demolition at the hands of the Baggies. A double from Kevin Phillips and further strikes from Miller, Koren and Jonathan Greening. Gareth Ainsworth netted a consolation for the struggling Londoners.
