'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sky At Night....

The fixture originally scheduled for Tuesday 4th December has been moved back a day to Monday 3rd December to allow for the Sky coverage.

This follows on from the news that the fixture against Barnsley - scheduled for Tuesday 6th November - has also been moved to a Monday night (5th Nov.) for TV coverage.

So far, this will make it 3 televised games for the 'Pool this season, meaning increased revenue (£10,000 will be made from the Scunthorpe fixture) and of course more national coverage for Simon Grayson and his band of players.

With the announcement of the Scunthorpe game being televised, one can assume that the fixture on 8th December (if you don't know who we're playing on that day...well...) will not be televised, possibly paving the way for the home fixture of that tie being televised in March of next year.

How pathetic, what on earth were Sky Sports thinking??? They chose S ****horpe vs Blackpool rather then PKE vs Blackpool? OK if there were issues with the policing of the PKE game meaning that it couldn't be on Monday evening, but S ****horpe instead vs Blackpool?? Hardly going to be a big draw.

Indeed. And a bugger for those fans that are not going to be able to get tickets/make it to the Knobbers game. Would have made sense to have it televised, especially as it's a lunch time kickoff now? Strange one.

Can't really see why it's pathetic lads.... think logically!
