Men In Black - Mark Halsey

Men In Black - Mark Halsey

Chris Foy was scheduled to take charge of Blackpool's 2-2 draw with Sheffield United on Tuesday, but in a late substitution, Mark Halsey was the man in black.

Vital Quotes and Ratings:

'He is a disgrace to the uniform. 1. I did not want to give him that though. He finds it making decisions and when he did he usually got them wrong.

Prem, you are having a laugh.'

'Typical Premiership referee, tried to impose himself on the game too much and ruined the flow of it.

Missed their players climbing all over Burgess all game, pulling Wes' shirt amongst other fouls from their players that went un-punished, yet nothing 'fouls' from our side were punished - like when Gnashers fell over, their player won the header, fell backwards and fell on top of him...yet they get a freekick.

A very generous 2 from me. Only 'cause he kept his cards in his pocket for said 'fouls' from 'Pool players.'

'I thought the ref on Saturday was bad...this one took the biscuit.'

'I thought he did ok. Both liners looked shocked whwen I asked them was it a pen. A 3 from me.'

'2.5 from me. He had no support from his liners really, they weren't much kop.'

This gives Mr Halsey an average men in black rating of: 1.9
