'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blackpool's Best EVER Eleven

Big Brother's finished for another 9 months but no, this isn't a spin off of the celebrated Channel 4 money making show.

What it is however is a feature where we'll be putting Pool players from all eras up against each other in three way battles to find the greatest ever tangerine eleven.

Pool fans can have their say on who they rate as the best Pool player in a straight three way battle. Three players; One position; but there can only be one winner…

All forum members are invited to get in touch with me if they have any ideas on who should be in, who shouldn't, and if they would like to write an article on their favourite player, with past memories and all.

This feature will last a few months (with the eleven being based on a 4-4-2 system) with articles being published on each player, with 'poll of the week' being dedicated to a certain position each week.

Where better than to start right at the back with the goalkeeper? A decision has been made on the three for this week with Banks, Burridge and Hesford all staking a claim to become the stopper in the greatest eleven to don the tangerine of Blackpool. Profiles on all three will be up on the front page this coming week.

Again, if you want to write on a player don't hesitate to get in contact with me via a personal message on the forum. To make this feature successful it needs you!
