Men In Black - Mr Friend

Monday night's referee, Mr Friend received a mix reception from our raters on the forum in his first game on Men In Black.

Infront of the SKY cameras Friend made a couple of bookings but apart from that didn't have a lot to do - although the game had to stop for ten minutes after Kaspars Gorkss and Caleb Folan clashed heads.

Raters opinions:

'I actually didn't think that he was too bad at all (in that I didn't really notice him).

4/5 from me.'

Abel

'1.5.

The extra 0.5 is for just turning up'

Jerry

'1 from me. Booking Kaspars for a clean tackle. Awful. Missing pushing tried to let the game flow but then became so pedantic it was cringeworthy.'
SeasideEssexXile

'After watching the game 'live' and on TV the only mistake he made was booking Kaspars.
All the other decisions seemed spot on.

Not sure about the BBB booking though.
All he did was bend down to do his lace up!

4/5 from me (2/5 is based solely on the 'live' game).'

Crossy

'3 for me.

'Thought he handled with Folan's injury well, and apart from some pedantic moments, let the game flow.'
Toronto

'1 from me the Casper booking was clearly not a booking ,he let them get away with rough house tactics all the game (Mind you he's not the only ref that seems to be missing that kind of stuff),he was a Mr Pedantic was'nt he stopping the quick free kick and insisting the free kick be taken a yard or 2 further back instead of letting play go on.'
PickeringHatrick

That leaves Mr Friend with an average MIB score of: 2.21

That's out of order what has happened to my vote of -5.

What a difference a year makes(reading your latest poll). This time last year the vast majority wanted Grayson out, good to see the club showed him some patience which is a rarity these days.
