Blackpool DDay: Welsh Signs

Blackpool DDay: Welsh Signs

Andy Welsh is the first player to sign for The Seasiders on transfer deadline day after he made the switch from Toronto (whoo!) FC.

The winger has signed on a one year deal with an option for another year.

After stints at Leicester, Sunderland, Macclesfield and Stockport in England, Welsh joined Toronto last year but as a result of his high wages, the club decided to offload him.

We'll have more on him tomorrow.

Welsh may well turn out in the end to be a very good signing. No-one had even heard of Hoolahan when he signed.

Agree with you there BT. Larry has made some great signings. Do not forget Larry played with him at Stockport, so he knows all about him.
