'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blackpool DDay News

It's nearing three o'clock and still nothing has been announced by Blackpool FC about signings.

The Seasiders had been linked with Paul Gallagher earlier in the day, but he's made the switch to Preston on loan until January instead. The player did want to join Stoke, but was advise to play at Deepdale by manager Mark Hughes.

Rumours have been circulating for days about various players. One of which being Neil Danns who has remained at Birmingham until now, but could still make a move to a Championship club before midnight.

Trialist Phil Marsh looks like he will sign before the deadline, as Larry will want some versatility in the squad.

There has been no news on Andy Wilkinson, after 'Pool put a bid in for the defender in the region of 250K yesterday.

However, no news is definitely good news regarding Shaun Barker and Keigan Parker, who look set to stay at the seaside.

Adrian Forbes is - we still believe - in talks with Gillingham.

It looks as if we're in for a long night...
