Men In Black - Chris Foy

Men In Black - Chris Foy

What did the Blackpool Vital members make of Premiership referee, Chris Foy on Saturday?

Blackpool drew 1-1 to Championship side, Norwich City, but large sections of the home support were dismayed with Foy's contribution.

3/5 - some shocking decisions, most notably the first penalty appeal...but Kudos to him for being consistent and booking Huckerby for diving after booking Hoolahoop earlier on. Shocking first half, 2nd half wasn't as bad imo.

A complete and utter tool, if he's a Premiership Ref I'll eat my hat, mind you i dont have a hat.
For me we should have had 2 pens, thier number 14 should have been off for elbowing my Mucker Evatt and Dirty Dublin should have gone for the same offence. Also they looked like they should have had a pen ,overall not a Premiership performance, should spend a week doing the Conference.

2 for me. and being generous - from replays missed 2 pens (1 for each) and someone whi is supposed to be top flight - basically POOR!!!!

Far many cards for what IMO wasn't a dirty game!!

WorselySeasider

2 for me, could have done better with the big shouts for pens but over all ok.

1/5 not very good at all i noticed touchline refs missed a couple of offsides too.

One poster, OneFountain, felt the need to have a swipe at the attitudes of Blackpool fans, saying:
The ref was not brill, but was he any worse than some of the performances from both teams ??

Did he look as stupid as evatt kicking fresh air for their goal?

Or even as silly (we said pre-match) as grayson not starting with parker against an old slow CB??

I wish, not just here, but in general that the witchhunt for refs would stop. Its more often an easy excuse.

Chris Foy rating is 1.75

Nice feature Toronto. Maybe the guys at Vital could spread this next season so Vital members can create a referee league table.... er... how do you vote by the way?

You do it on the forum, mate. If you attended the game you post in the relevant thread at the top of the board following the game.

Hi Pike. What club are you from? I'll try and get something sorted with the other editors if there's enough interest.

I'm banned on rating refs - with the exception of Dermot Gallagher I'd be giving them all minus marks!
