'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Another Sellout...

As of 12.30pm Monday (22nd), there were only around 100 tickets remaining dotted around the ground.

The club expects the remaining tickets to be in high demand so anyone who hasn't already purchased a ticket should get down to Bloomfield Road asap to the ticket office. Alternatively those wanting to buy tickets should call 0870 443 1953 to reserve a ticket - although patience is required when calling as staff are expected to be busy due to the high demand.

Should the game sellout - and it certainly looks that way - it would match the Boxing Day tie with Carlisle which was the highest attendance (9,473) since the new stands opened. It beat the previous highest attendance of 9,333 set when the new stands were officially opened against Huddersfield back in the 2001/2002 season.

With the stadium set to be full of rowdy Blackpool fans, spurred on by the vocal Norwich fans - always a good following on their travels - it is set to be an intimidating atmosphere for Huckerby and Co.

An old fashioned FA Cup tie with 'Pool in the best form imaginable against one of the Championship's underachievers (seeing as though they were only in the Premiership not so long ago!)...it is certainly going to be an interesting day whichever way the game goes.
