Men In Black

RJ Lewis will take charge of Blackpools away trip to Leyton Orient. The Shrewsbury born referee has been ever present in officiating league matches this season and, with Wolves versus Sheffield Wednesday (they`re a massive club y`know!) being his most high profile game.

He likes to have a flutter with his cards and has produced 63 yellow and 3 reds in his 17 matches this term.

This season is Lewis` first refereeing at League 1 and Championship level, whereas before he has been restricted to Conference and League 2.

His last match was one battled out between Macclesfield and Lincoln - a game departing Pool legend, John Murphy played in.

R Lewis hasn`t refereed The Seasiders before but has seen Orient in action and was the man in black when The O`s took on Oldham in a 3-3 draw at Boundary Park earlier this season.

Hopefully (I say hopefully!) he will be of a better standard than the ones of late.
