'Keeper departs

The shot stopper has had his fair share of injury troubles this season and has been kept out of the side by Rhys Evans since the opening day of the season - a decision that baffled the majority of fans.

The 36 year old has previously had a loan spell at Bury this season when they had a goalkeeper crisis, when 3 of their 'keepers were injured at once!

He returned to Blackpool following the loan spell and re-injured his troublesome thumb.

He is expected to make his Darlington debut in their Johnston's Paint Trophy match against Doncaster Rovers.

This leaves only Rhys Evans, Lewis Edge and young Kyle Clancy as the goalkeepers at the Seaside.

So no back up then .Unless Edge has matured quite a bit.

He has, I'm certain of that. Plus, didn't you like the look of Clancy in pre season?????

So farewell Lee. Thanks for the memories, especially Hartlepool away last season.

Hartlepool away was superb. Not for the goalkeeping though.....? I remember him saving a pen at 1-0. Didn't have that much to do did he?

That penalty save changed the course of the game and IMO the season, Jack. So no he didn't have much to do!

Made my dads day.
