'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's official...

The central defender left QPR by mutual consent yesterday which, after a week of speculation about his future with the Tangerines, fueled the fire even more suggesting that he was indeed on his way.

The official site has today revealed that the 25 year old defender has FINALLY put pen to paper on an 18 month deal, with the option for a further year. Potentially keeping him at the Seaside until June 2009.

This will sure to be fantastic news for Blackpool fans everywhere as the player has become an integral part of the team soaring up the league and into the playoffs for the first time in quite a while!

The former Chesterfield captain will no doubt be in the starting line-up tomorrow afternoon as Blackpool face Aldershot in the FA Cup 3rd Round and can expect a fantastic reception from the Blackpool faithful.

He's taking on "clarkie-esque" status to me now...quickly becoming my favourite player alongside Foxy. Great signing, we're in a great position now to show the rest of the league what we're made of!

Getting there bit by bits lads, just need to show the quality we have the back by getting a good run of clean sheets, to combine with tenacity up front and we're set, play offs at the very worst!
