Pool Win Takes Them To 9th

On a cold and blustry Tuesday night, Blackpool overcame strong resistance from not only the wind but their opponents as well, Cheltenham Town.

The visitors took the lead through Damian Spencer when he turned the ball expertly.

A great team goal scored my Andy Morrell followed, and a fantastic individual effort from Wes Hoolahan - who The Seasiders are set to sign permanently in January - finished the game off with ten minutes remaining.

A tense end, but Simon Graysons men are now up to 9th.

Full match report to follow, along with the views of board members SuddickTheKing and Jerry.

Another win on Saturday should take you into the play off place then it's full steam ahead for an automatic slot

well...i'm now willing to say that i was wrong about Larry following the Carlisle game! Now we must be one of the form teams in the league and playing with all the confidence in the world it seems, 3 points off the playoffs...with a 6 pointer coming up agains the Swans... going to be an interesting saturday!
