Carlisle 2 - 0 Blackpool

Pool went down 2-0 at Brunton Park despite dominating the play in the second half. Grayson was forced into making one change to the starting line up bringing in David Fox for Claus who suffered a groin strain.

Former Pool man Chris Lumsdon gave the home side the lead when he poked in a Hawley cross.

From there Pool went on to dominate, with Parker and Hoolahan having the best chances to get an equalizer, but as Pool pressed Carlisle where able to seal the victory when Hawley found himself clean through and neatly chipped Evans.

Saturday`s game against Leyton Orient is now a must win, not for the team but for the future of Simon Grayson.

Carlisle - Westwood, Arnison, Gray, Murphy, Aranalde, Billy, Lumsdon, Thirlwell, Gall, Hawley, Hackney.
Subs Not Used: Williams, Livesey, Holmes, McDermott, Hindmarch.
Blackpool - Evans, Barker, Evatt, Jackson, Coid, Gillett, Fox (Parker 81), Southern, Hoolahan, Burgess, Vernon (Morrell 73).
Subs Not Used: Jones, Prendergast, Joseph.

Let's not underestimate Orient. To get a draw after being 3-0 down with 13 mins to go is no mean achievement!

Do you think Grayson will still be here for the next game ?

Knowing our Chairman - yes!

The time is now right Larry must do the right thing, I would expect VB to fly in for Saturdays game and dish out the P45 regardless of a win or not. Larry is just not the right man for this job..
