'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wonder Watt

The Tangerine Tournament which took place before the season was a great success raising £233 for the School of Excellence at Blackpool Football Club. The winners of the tournament were Tangerine-Planet, who were also the joint organisers of the event.

One of the prizes from the tournament was for the Player of the Tournament, awarded to the player who made the biggest impact on the day. A shortlist was created with a player from each competing team. Voting took place with the expert panel of judges deciding on the winner.

Will Watt from the winning Tangerine-Planet team came out as player of the tournament. Rocky the editor of Tangerine Planet and myself were able to present the trophy at the Chesterfield game on Tuesday.

Rocky, Will Wall and myself. for some reason I decided to pose like Jimmy Hill, I`d like to add that I don`t have a protruding chin and that it`s a trick of the camera

We`d like to thank Sandgroanun once again who kindly sponsored the trophy, sandgroanun is currently the networks number one contributor and is inline to win a copy of LMA Manager 2007 for the PS2!

Thanks for those kind words John. Good to see the old 'cheque in the post' idea worked a treat!
