'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Progress !

A statement today on the club website stated that work of the south west corner of the stadium will start on the 23rd of this month. The work is only on the corner and work on the south stand won't start until the interior office space is let out.

The corner will be the same design as the rest of the stadium, three stories with the seating rising to the same as it is around the ground currently.

Well, it's a start!

All that remains now is to see the colour of Belakon's money and the future should be very bright.

It will look a very smart stadium when its finished. On the picture it looks read, surely the seats are orange?
greyhound
Very good for you. Does the club need it at the moment? Are you consistently selling out?
Tierney
The seats always look red in pictures but they are supposedly TANGERINE (ish). Why on earth would they be orange when we play in TANGERINE and are known as The Tangerines? And whilst it is good news and the final stadium will be very atmospheric to say the least. It is still IMO just a smokescreen to cover the building of the Hotel on the land over the road behind the South Stand. If the club had announced that the hotel was being built there would have been absolute uproar. So what do they do? They announce that a tiny corner piece is to be built and then add in a little one liner adding that the hotel is also to be started at the same time.
BisphamTangerine
Its only the corner piece but I suppose it is a start, lol
bisphamlad
Do you need a extra 1,000 spaces???
dazza71
We already have ONE big empty space. These though are SEATS.
