Morrell boosting signing?

Morrell, 32 has signed a two year deal at the club to ease the striker problem at Bloomfield Road. The signing of the Doncaster born striker was much needed after no goals in the first three game of the season.

Andy started his career at Newcastle Blue Star, after a year at the club he was snapped up by Welsh outfit Wrexham. At the Racecourse Morrell scored 43 times in 82 starts and 38 substitute appearances (all competitions).

He moved on to Championship side Coventry in the summer of 2003 and went on to score 17 goals in 62 starts and 49 substitute appearance (all competitions)

Morrell goes straight into the Seasiders squad for the game against Bristol City on Saturday.
